Hello, and Welcome.

Thank you for stopping by for my blog open house. I have been working on this for approximately 2 months and I am so excited to share it with you.

With this blog I hope to share with you a little about myself and get to know many of you. As wives, moms & business women we are multifaceted beings and My Blog is an attempt to pull together the many hats I wear into cohesive organization under one roof. I intend to live the best life I possibly can, raise great kids (who will hopefully be entrepreneurs themselves) and to make a positive impact on the world. If I can pass along my lessons learned to you in the process, I will do so right here on these pages. I hope you find your time here well spent, and value in these words.

Cathy Perkins the Word Press Wizard, for answering my burning wp questions and providing your free weekly calls and audios, I have listended to many of them late at night.

Dawn Papandrea-Khan, aka, Painter Mommy. You created an awesome header for me and walked me through so many of the fine details. AND you fixed my code when I screwed it up, whew!

Yaro Starak, your videos are the best! I only wish I had found them before I started, they were so helpful that I am putting them in my resource area to help others that may visit here.

Hi Cindy,
You blog looks great!
You may want to add a custom permalink so that your pages show up with the name of your post.
To do so just go into the settings folder while logged on to wordpress as an administrator and select permalinks.
Then ad “%postname%/ to the custom structure setting and save it.
Also, to make your website address show up as http://www.cindyoungblood.com instead of http://cindyyoungblood you will need to go into the general tab under settings and change your wordpress address (URL) and blog address (url) to http://www.cindyyoungblood.com
After you save it you will have to log on to wordpress all over again.

Hi Cindy,
You can make a change inside the blog
structure after it is already running.
And the blog itself should update correctly.
So archives and recent posts sections would
work.
There would be a link problem for any links
you added manually though. Obviously you
moved where those links were so incoming links
AND links inside your site you developed may
not work correctly.

I’m not sure how you could fix this issue other than
fixing your links manually (the ones you added).
